Comprehensive Testing
Our pumps are qualified through rigorous environmental testing to verify performance in the harsh conditions encountered in spaceflight, aeronautical, and industrial service. We employ thermal cycling to expose hardware to wide temperature swings, altitude and vacuum testing to simulate the pressure of flight or space, and vibration and shock testing reproduce dynamic loads to ensuring structural integrity and long‑term reliability.
All pressure components undergo pressure and leak tests in accordance with AIAA and ECSS standard, with welded joints undergoing comprehensive NDT for fracture control.
Fluid compatibility testing is also able to be undertaken for corrosive and hazardous chemical applications. Nexus Fluidics draws on its access to a wide range of vendours for chemical compatibility testing to ensure its products can withstand the harsh environments and fluids they are subjected to throughout their entire life.
These test campaigns allow us to verify and achieve full qualification of all Nexus Fluidics products, and tailored acceptance testing is available to assist with our customer's compliance requirements.
